ALC Designer Andrea Lieberman in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
August 21, 2013
It’s August – and that can only mean one thing, Fall is looming. Before we say goodbye to the sunniest season, let’s reminisce about some of our favorite Summer vacation destinations.
First up in this monthly installment is ALC designer Andrea Lieberman’s Cabo San Lucas Mexico vacation. The Los Angeles-based designer says she loves Cabo because of the ease. “It’s a two hour flight from LA, my dad has a house there and the obvious – the beautiful weather and beaches.”
NM: Describe your ideal day in Cabo.
AL: It’s completely centered around the beach. Wake up, sand castles and swimming with the kids. Lunch in town at Tacos Rossy. Siesta. Four wheeling on the beach at Sunset.
NM: Where is your favorite place to sleep?
AL: My dad’s, in Puerto Los Cabos
NM: Name your favorite restaurant.
AL: Flora’s Farm. Completely organic – they grow everything they cook and have the best cocktails.
NM: What is your favorite thing to do here?
AL: Off the grid jeep rides along the coast. At certain times of year you can spot whales. It is pretty magical.
NM: What is your favorite thing to see?
AL: We love the organic market on weekends. There are puppet shows for the kids and artisans who have truly mastered their crafts.
NM: What is your favorite thing to wake up to while you’re in Cabo?
AL: Morning dance parties on the beach with the kids.
NM: Don’t leave home without…?
AL: An easy cotton beach hoodie.
