It’s that time of year when Los Angeles’ art and design community anticipates the annual Antiques, Art + Design Show (October 9 – 13). For the first time the show will be held at the new 3Labs in the Hayden Tract Arts District in Culver City, and again benefit the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s Decorative Arts and Design Council (DADC).

As in years past, the show will continue to feature decorative and fine art reflecting all design movements across the millennia, including American and European period furniture and decorative arts, important 20th century modern design, cutting-edge 21st century art and design, tribal arts, Asian and African arts and Native American arts. Of the 43 participants, Arader Galleries of San Francisco and Jon Eric Riis of Atlanta will be in attendance along with Los Angeles-based galleries Habit√©, Dragonette Ltd., Downtown and Reform – among many others. Returning to the show this year is London’s William Cook and Didier Ltd., to name a few. All proceeds from the DADC’s fundraising efforts support LACMA’s Decorative Arts and Design departments.
