Neiman Marcus Beverly Hills Debuts the Newly Remodeled Plaza Level
February 26, 2015
The fashion set descended upon Los Angeles this month for a plethora of stylish events. First up, on February 6 in Hollywood, Louis Vuitton debuted 48 looks created by Nicolas Ghesquière in an exhibition called Series 2 – Past, Present and Future. On February 20, Tom Ford presented his Fall 2015 collection in Los Angeles (a collection that has historically been shown in London) and lastly, on February 22, international designers debuted the season’s most spectacular gowns on the red carpet during the 87th Academy Awards in Beverly Hills. Whether you popped into town to attend one of these coveted events or are simply strolling the streets of Beverly Hills, don’t miss the newly remodeled Cosmetics department and Mariposa restaurant at Neiman Marcus Beverly Hills.
The new sleek and sophisticated Cosmetics department, now occupying the Plaza Level (lower level) of the store, shines in bright white marble and features several new exclusive shop-in-shops. Experience our new Avery Perfume Gallery housing some of the world’s most niche fragrances selected by leading international experts. “The shop also displays artwork along with the fragrances, so it gives our customers a unique experience very similar to that of an art gallery,” says NM beauty buyer Mary Ann Cederberg. Another must-see is La Mer’s serene fish tank displaying the algae that creates the brand’s special broth. Lastly, don’t forget to stop by the Tom Ford Shop for all the latest NM exclusives.
Spend the rest of the afternoon enjoying some of the highly anticipated epicure highlights at the newly reopened Mariposa restaurant. Some of our favorites include: Spicy Tuna Crudo, Spinach, Kale & Grains Salad and the Caramelized Cauliflower Steak. Don’t have time to enjoy the dining room? Pop into the bar for a light bite and delectable drinks. Be sure to make reservations because the lunch hour fills up fast with locals. We look forward to seeing you at #NMBeverlyHills.
