It’s the middle of the Fall — in fact we’re “falling back” this weekend — which means it’s about time to revamp our favorite everyday jeans and even try on one or two new styles and silhouettes. Thankfully there’s nothing but inspiration from our favorite style bloggers and celebrities, which is why we decided to list our favorite Fall denim trends, and make the selection process a bit easier when visiting the store or clicking through NM’s denim section – we do carry 20 different lines and over 130 styles!

Coated jeans are the easiest transition into Fall’s rocker-chic mood. They have the leather look we all love, but at a denim price point. Model and actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley wears them casually with a button-down shirt and pumps, as does actress Kate Bosworth, donning a simple t-shirt under a blazer and stepping up the rocker-chic mood with beaded pumps.
Vivaluxury blogger Annabelle Fleur takes the rocker aesthetic all the way by pairing her Rich and Skinny coated jeans with with a leather moto jacket. The pink pumps are a great color accent and soften the overall look.
On another, much more casual note, boyfriend jeans aren’t going anywhere. The distressed wash works very well for any daylight outing, and the key to their success is to know how to dress them up, or down. Blair Eadie from Atlantic Pacific wears them casually with a trendy sweatshirt, but she also dons her Current/Elliott pair with pointy heels, a chunky knit and a leopard coat. Actress and singer Selena Gomez pairs her acid-wash boyfriend jeans with a boxy white shirt. She steps up the casual look with hanging suspenders and a great pair of ankle-strap white pointy wedges.
Patched denim is definitely having a comeback, and it goes way beyond a DIY project. Aimee Song from Song Of Style is a master in making the eye-catchy, patch-covered 3.1 Phillip Lim skinny jeans look perfectly casual with a plaid shirt and red sandals. Look closely to the jeans and you’ll find much more than strategically placed patches. British superstar model Cara Delevingne was seen in New York City earlier this month modeling the newest DKNY collection, where the patch-covered tapered jeans steal the show, no questions. All needed was a loose button-down shirt and a mini clutch to top the look.
