Angela Scott, the Los Angeles-based designer behind the shoe label The Office of Angela Scott, has come a long way at Neiman Marcus, from working at the PR office at our Dallas NorthPark store to taking part in the Beverly Hills store’s #NMMakeSomeNoise panel of bold women at last CUSP Event. In 2012, Scott launched her eponymous brand inspired by traditional men shoes with a bit of punk, and a lot of utility for the urban female’s wardrobe. Angie dresses outside the box, and yet keeps her look grounded in her bohemian meets tomboy style. We can just picture her doing anything from taking that early morning stroll at the beach to taking meetings with clients in the pieces she chose below. What’s in your shopping cart right now? Carven

Enscripted Cropped Sweatshirt

“Love a light sweater in spring—L.A. gets cool but not cold, so a cropped sweater is perfect to toss over a bathing suit with a pair of boyfriend jeans for an evening walk on the beach with my pups.”

Fendi

Shearling Dotted Perforated Baseball Jacket (find it in stores!)

“I am slightly obsessed with the shearling polka dots on this jacket!!! Not only do I get to wear shearling in the summer because of the lightweight sleeves and body, but the polka dots are just over the top.”

The Office of Angela Scott

Cap Toe Edge in Overcast

“A pair of Angela Scott kicks!!  My favorite this spring is the ‘Mr. Herman’ lace-up oxford in gray and yellow with a white leather-wrapped wedge! I love a little punk moment for a spring outfit, and, of course, the wedge helps give me a little lift while being über comfortable.”

UPF 50 Long-Sleeve Houndstooth-Print Swimsuit

“Not only is Lisa, the designer for Cover one of my BFF’s, but she has created a sick line. The SPF 50+ material helps me cover up but still look cool at the same time. I mean really you can’t get more punk than wearing a full-sleeve houndstooth swimsuit.”

Acne Studios

Lash Tech Shirt Dress (find it in stores!)

“I love button down shirts, they are so classic and simple…this dress version is the more feminine version of my husband’s classic oxford that I toss on in the morning to make breakfast! It’s so easy, perfect for a trip to Europe, doesn’t take up any room in my suitcase and I can look chic in a second!”
