Gift Guide: $100 and Under
December 8, 2016
Neiman Marcus has always been a favorite destination for legacy brands and luxe clothing, but it’s also a great source for affordable holiday gifts. Every year, they launch a curated collection of fantastic items that includes something for even the hardest people to shop for on your list. Here are some of my favorite items available, all for $100 and under:
- Velvet Choker ($50)
I’m all about the choker trend this season, but for me, the versions with charms and embellishments feel like too much. This sleek, simple piece offers an easy way to embrace the trend and would look stunning on any of my girlfriends.
- Cookie Stamp ($15)
This stamp would make the sweetest gift for a friend who loves to bake—it allows you to personalize cookies with stamped messages. Bonus points if you gift it with a batch of homemade cookie dough.
- Snowflake Marshmallows ($10)
These snowflake marshmallows are the ultimate stocking stuffer and take a cup of hot chocolate to the next level.
- Emoji Cocktail Napkins ($48)
Instead of bringing over a bottle of booze as a hostess gift, bring these cute emoji cocktail napkins, which will last much longer than a bottle. P.S., We had a team debate over the festive emoji—which we’ve decided is either a “piñata cornucopia,” “exploding party hat,” or “party horn.”
- Decanter (on sale for $80)
For any of your friends looking to step up their wine game, this is the perfect gift. Nothing makes you feel more like a grownup than pouring even your cheapest bottle into a gorgeous decanter.
- Wireless Speaker Clock ($50)
It’s difficult to find an attractive wireless speaker without a steep price tag, and this playful version is the ideal gadget for your music-loving friend. It’s inconspicuous when off-duty, but can light up and display the time, temperature or fun patterns, when you’re in party mode.
- Bento Box Candy ($65)
There’s almost nothing I love to receive more than a high-end box of candy, and Sugarfina is one of my all-time favorite brands. It’s cute and creative how each treat is filled with “vices” like booze, bacon, and “caviar.”
- Grey Malin Swell Bottle ($42)
My S’well bottle single-handedly changed my relationship with water and turned me into a person who is now well-hydrated. I adore this Grey Malin “Deer Valley” printed version that would make an excellent gift for anyone in your life.
- Candle Set ($60)
These candles are pretty enough to leave out and, once lit, made our entire place smell like a cabin in the woods. It’s a great gift for an in-law or your favorite coworker.
