The past year has not been easy for you because you had Saturn-the planet that encourages maturity and the taking on of new and substantial responsibilities—in Scorpio, opposite your Sun, since October 5, 2012. If your birthday falls between April 20 and May 7, you are now finished with Saturn’s hardest tests. If your birthday falls after May 7, you will feel Saturn’s presence the most this year, until December 23, 2014.
If you have felt isolated at times during Saturn’s cosmic test, that sounds right, as Saturn will take away your normal sources of support to encourage you to be more independent and resourceful. With Saturn opposite your Sun, a close relationship can become frustrating, and you might need to expend more effort to blend personalities. Your partner may have an overly conservative outlook or may ask to slow down the plans you want to make together. Relationships require flexibility—these days you may be asked to be supportive to your partner’s needs and perhaps do much more than your usual share to help your partner get through this period.
Or, Saturn’s presence may indicate that your partner is or has been under unusual stress. If your partner has been going through a rough patch, you may have to pitch in and help. Or, it may be that your new love lives in a distant city or is still attached to a former love, and you will have to wait until he or she is ready to love again.
Saturn will temporarily leave his present placement in Scorpio—the sticky place for you—and will move forward into Sagittarius, from December 23 to June 15, 2015. Then Saturn will return to Scorpio, from June 15, 2015 to September 17, 2015. After that, Saturn will move into Sagittarius, not returning to his severe position in Scorpio for another 29 years. In the meantime, you will be reminded that a close relationship not only has privileges, but also responsibilities. Both parties have to contribute to the relationship or it will collapse, as one person cannot carry it alone.
This trend will mainly affect your relationship if you are seriously attached in a deep commitment. If you are not in an established, committed relationship, you may only feel this through a business partner who is difficult (this includes an agent, talent you may represent, publicist, manager or, if you’re self-employed, a competitor who you will need to fend off).
If you are single and looking for love, watch for the time after the new moon, September 25, 2014—a great one to see new love bloom in the ten days to follow. Be sure to circulate and look your best. Neptune, the planet of dreams, confusion, and misconceptions, will be active so do not get carried away. Go slowly and get to know your partner well before getting deeply involved in a relationship.
Overall, whether you are single or attached, you will have to decide how much you are willing to give in any relationship and what is reasonable for you to expect in return. If your relationship is strong, your alliance will withstand the tests that Saturn imposes and make your bond stronger than it had been before. If this year you conclude that you and your partner are hopelessly incompatible, you may finally part, even though you did not have the courage to do so earlier. The universe works toward building strength and productivity, and ultimately wants you to be happy.
Saturn opposite the Sun can be very draining, so be sure to take good care of your health, getting enough fresh air, exercise, nutritious food, and sleep on a regular basis. Keep up with regular checkups, too.
Jupiter, giver of gifts and luck, will change positions and enter Leo on July 16 (to stay until the following year, August 11, 2015) and will bring enormous opportunity in terms of real estate and housing, once Jupiter settles into Leo. Jupiter will see to it that you feel more space in that period, so if you have to move, you will find a large, sunny location (Leo brings sunlight, and Jupiter enlarges everything it touches and makes the experience seem luxurious). If you move between July 16, 2014 and August 11, 2015, you will likely rent or buy an apartment or house that offers a view. You may not necessarily move to a new location to feel the spaciousness of Jupiter. You may see a romantic partner or roommate move out, thereby doubling your present space.
The period of March 31, 2015 to May 11, 2015 will be an important one for you. Mars will be in Taurus at that time, giving you ultimate control over events. This is a rare trend, one that comes every two years for approximately six weeks. Plan to launch your biggest initiatives energetically and courageously. You also will have supreme allure. This period is great time to meet someone new.
