Happy Birthday Aquarius!
January 21, 2015
This year, progress will be your byword. You won’t want 2015 to be a simple rerun of last year, for you are suddenly aching to see that your time and effort build toward something important. In your career and your personal life, you are likely to see gratifying change, for two big planets, Saturn and Jupiter, will shift into new signs, bringing you new opportunities in areas of your life that have been either dormant or a bit stuck.
You value freedom, for your ruler is Uranus, the planet of rebellion, creativity, individuality and surprise, but Saturn, the taskmaster planet, has pinned you down and forced you to focus on your career with a near-obsession. You did so, too, for you knew that you were being given a rare chance to move ahead of the pack. If you hoped to eventually make a big name for yourself in your industry, you had to prove it from October 2012 to October 2014. Indeed, that was a critical time for you, for that was when taskmaster Saturn first entered your prestigious career zone in October 2012 and has been teetering on taking on more responsibility ever since. Saturn shows us that the accomplishments that turn out to be the most meaningful and valuable to us are the ones that we worked the hardest to achieve. Over the past two years, Saturn forced you to keep your eyes straight forward, fixed on the road ahead. Other areas of life, such as romance, might have been neglected, but that is changing now, too.
Saturn is known to be a tough customer, for he does not give rewards while he is teaching you. However, he has been known to deliver a substantial gift when he leaves two years or more later. On December 23, 2014, Saturn left Scorpio and your tenth house, so you should now feel the pressure to prove yourself calming down. Saturn will retrograde back to Scorpio this summer, from June 14 to September 17, 2015, a period of 13 weeks—but that time will quickly fly by. If you have a birthday that falls near the end of the sign, near February 15 to 18, you may feel your skills tested in your new position over the summer. This challenge will require a continuation of the focus you had September through December 2014.
Once Saturn leaves Scorpio and your career house on September 17, this taskmaster planet will be gone permanently. Saturn will not return to the lofty career part of your chart until November 2041—decades from now. Saturn’s “tough love” methods are rigorous yet effective, so you’ll carry with you all that you learned professionally over the past two years as you move forward in the next nearly three decades. Now that you’ve walked the gauntlet, you will know you can handle whatever career challenge is thrown your way in the years ahead.
It is unclear when you will receive your career reward for working so earnestly with Saturn. Your most likely time to see career kudos, if not already seen, could be in early May or in mid-November of this year. It is also possible such recognition will occur now. No matter when it comes, you have gained so much, and that will be a different reward in itself. If you are skeptical, look back to where you were in October 2014 to compare your current standing—you will clearly see how far you have come. You have every reason to be proud.
Now let’s turn to your finances, which are due for extraordinary growth in the second half of 2015. When Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, enters your eighth house of other people’s money, you may be entering your biggest and best financial year of the decade. This will start August 11, 2015 and continue until September 9, 2016, a period of nearly 13 months. You have not seen Jupiter in this financial house since August 2003 to September 2004, and the coming financial phase could be stronger than it was last time. The money coming to you might not come as salary but instead through outside sources. Having more money will allow you to pay off debt and still have some left over for several little luxuries you have had your eye on.
If you are dating someone seriously, you may want to make your love official by getting engaged or married. Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, moved into your marriage sector in July 2014, and this trend will last until August 11, 2015. Jupiter takes 12 years to revolve around the Sun and through each house of the horoscope. This may be one of the best years in over a decade to marry. Jupiter thinks big and will want you to make more of your relationship by expanding its joy and possibilities. Before Jupiter leaves Leo, he will conjoin Mercury during August 6-7, 2015. These are weekdays, but you will feel the good energy later, on Sunday, August 9, too—a day that brims with love. The moon will be in Gemini, the sign on the cusp of your solar fifth house of true love. Perfect!
If you are already wed, you will see your relationship blossom and grow closer. You may even tackle a big goal together. Jupiter is associated with long-distance travel, too, so you may visit to an exotic location in the coming year and weave a memory that will last a lifetime.
If you are single and dating, you may find that short-distance travel and love go together like a cup and saucer. The time near the weekend of February 21 to 22 should be special, for Mars will conjoin his lover Venus. This is a glamorous aspect, filled with romance and beauty. These two cosmic lovers will meet in your house of short-distance travel, so you may want to get away to a nearby snowy landscape and stay at a cozy inn for private time together. If you are married, you will love this weekend away.
If you are single and not dating, you will experience one of the most exhilarating times of the year to have a fateful meeting when Mars enters Gemini from May 11 to June 24, 2015. Mercury will be in retrograde during part of this period, however, from May 19 to June 11, 2015—not the best time to meet anyone new. If you would like to reunite with a past relationship, Mercury retrograde would be the ideal time for you to make an overture. Mercury rules your house of true love, and when in retrograde, encourages the idea of looking back to earlier times and former relationships to make more of them.
If you don’t want to rekindle a past alliance, then look to the period from June 11 to June 24, 2015. Venus will be in Leo, a strong and supportive place for you to embrace tender feelings. Jupiter and Uranus will be in supreme harmony on Monday, June 22, a rarity that is likely to bring a time brimming with surprise. Because Uranus is in your travel sector, it will be an ideal time to travel to a nearby resort. This lovely aspect is rare—the last time it will appear until December 2019—and will bring all sorts of positive happenstance. Maybe take a spontaneous trip. If single, perhaps go with friends to a nearby resort within a day’s drive and see if you meet someone interesting while there. Consider signing up for a summer cottage share in June.
The June 16th new moon, will appear in your true love sector (fifth house) a week earlier and will be very sweetly angled to your ruler, Uranus. That new moon will likely bring surprises that rain down on you like confetti. Considering how strong mid-June will be for your romantic life after Mercury goes direct on June 11, and considering that you will have Mars energizing in most of June, you may plan to go to that resort for a holiday during your very best, most sparkling time for love, from June 16 to June 23, 2015. You won’t be disappointed if you leave at this time. If you are single, you may have a superb chance to meet someone new.
With Venus in Leo, for married Aquarians this same period of June 16 to June 23, 2015, should be divine for private time with your one and only. If you have children, you might want to bring them along, but with a helper so you can have family fun during the day and some alone time with your true love at night. This week in June may well become your five-star memory for 2015.
