Diane von Furstenberg in Dallas
October 24, 2014
Venerable fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg has a lot to celebrate. Not only is her iconic wrap dress turning 40 (and still as fab and flattering as ever!), but her memoir, The Woman I Wanted to Be, releases Oct. 28. In a cross-country, champagne-toasting tour, the doyenne made a stop at NM NorthPark’s CUSP. Wrap-dressed in the signature prints we all know and love (true DVF devotees know she lovingly calls them “the six sisters”), fans turned out to meet the design legend and view the fall collection. Von Furstenberg gladly snapped photos with party-goers and chatted about her book, which took four years to complete. Later, she made the rounds, assisting lucky shoppers in selecting a few new DVF pieces and offering up some styling tips. Not a bad way to spend a Wednesday night.
